I am 67, married for 45 years, with four children, and six grandchildren. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2007, and went into brief ‘shock’ then gathered myself to get on with my treatment. The power of positivity is massive. My Husband and family were a great support, but understood when chronic tiredness overcame me at times. As a self-employed lady, I had no choice but to keep working, taking 10 days off following my mastectomy. Five years of taking my drug treatment went pretty quickly, and I’m doing brilliantly! I prayed to meet my future Grandchildren, and I thank God that those prayers were answered.
